![]() ![]() If it turns out to be useful information, then you might want to consider taking a course. Sometimes you can't take shortcuts- but this is one of those subjects where you kinda can, it can be an 'ah-ha' moment for lots of people.įind a copy of the book somewhere, it's pretty standard in the art section of bookstores or you can probably find it online. It doesn't matter where you learn something, in the end all good artists know the same basic truths. But some do take longer than others and weave around more. Like just about anything in art, you can get to the same place a million ways and they're all just fine. It's about learning to think about space and drawing in a way many people don't figure out for a really long time. It's not some magical technique, and though it's 'wrong' in that there really isn't a solid left/right brain division, it's right in that it is talking about a specific and very useful part of art. Most artists I know have a copy, myself included. ![]() But you can always get the book and see if it's something that works for you. The 'technique' itself is sound, whether that particular course itself is any use I have no idea. You can no longer comment on this thread as it was closed due to no I am sorry for my terrible english, and thank you for reading this in advance. So my question is : Is it worth to go there and see what they teach, or will i be mislead and put on the wrong path? I mean does it really matter "how" you learn to draw? It should be still the same principles: depth, shade, volume, value, perspective ect.And if it is, why do they keep mentioning this as it is some sort of different thing then learning to draw? I googled it (i know its lame) and i see like 200 000 portraits but no real art. I mean will that curse really teach me how to draw properly and not throw me off with some flahy scam? I seen the pictures he drawn and its like insane improvement, but i am sure if i ask him to draw a Crow or any sort of picture, he could not do anything artistic. And after reading a bit about it on the web i kind of felt exacly like that.a bit off. I had a LOT of experiance (i was really interested) with occult and witchcraft in my young days, and i read like 1-200 books on it, sociology, history, psychology and I clearly know when people talk about these half supersitious things like Ezoteric and Healthy life style, they spew out utter nonsense they dont know anything about. ![]() I am personally REALLY reluctant about it. Recently my friend visited me, and told me about this "right side of the brain drawing" curse he taken, and kept urging me to take it, instead of self tutoring. I am not sure how to begin, but i try to keep it short. ![]()
